It's playoff time, and Licking Valley had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Bexley Lions on Tuesday as they made off with a 9-1 victory. Considering the Panthers have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Licking Valley is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Bexley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-11-1.
