Softball Recap: Milton Red Hawks vs. Fort Atkinson Blackhawks
While Milton put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Fort Atkinson. The Milton Red Hawks were the clear victor by an 11-0 margin over the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks. The high-scoring effort was just what Milton needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.
Milton's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Fort Atkinson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milton will take on Beaver Dam at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Beaver Dam will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Milton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Atkinson, they will head out on the road to square off against DeForest at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
