Basketball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 65-59 to the Rio Americano Raiders on Saturday. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in January.

The victory got Rio Americano back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Edison will take on Clovis in a tournament on Thursday. As for Rio Americano, they will take on Twelve Bridges at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Raging Rhinos have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
