Alexander Jones Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Starting off the list is Concordia's Alexander Jones, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jones threw for 371 yards and seven touchdowns, and also rushed for 148 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (101.4). His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 110 rushing yards.

Texas School for the Deaf was led to victory by Niven Zhang, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. He didn't just play on offense: he also made three total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

Zhang might have his next game, a home matchup with Prince of Peace, circled on his calendar. When Zhang last faced the Eagles back in September, he picked up 94 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

A Season-Best Performance from Daniel Wolfmueller Leads Concordia over Veritas Academy

On Friday, Concordia got the W thanks in part to Daniel Wolfmueller playing the best football he has all season. Wolfmueller picked up 187 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

For the season, Wolfmueller has caught 13 touchdowns while averaging 62.4 receiving yards per game.
