Volleyball Recap: Prospect Ridge Academy Comes Up Short

Prospect Ridge Academy was the 2-0 winner over Banning Lewis Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Miners took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stallions on Saturday.

Leading Banning Lewis Academy to victory were Amelia Perez and Alyson Martinez. Perez had ten digs and three aces, while Martinez had six assists and three digs.

Prospect Ridge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Banning Lewis Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6.

Prospect Ridge Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Thomas MacLaren School on the 25th. As for Banning Lewis Academy, they will take on James Irwin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stallions are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
