The New Braunfels Thunder Homeschool will challenge San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in New Braunfels Thunder's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

New Braunfels Thunder proved they can win big on September 5th (they won by 46) and two weeks ago they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 41-39 win over CenTex HomeSchool.

Aaron Ford went supernova, rushing for 240 yards and two TDs on only eight carries, while also throwing for 74 yards and one touchdown on only five passes. Those 240 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Rayney Schultz was another key player, picking up 65 receiving yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: New Braunfels Thunder was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 428 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 193 rushing yards in seven consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool's offense. They were beaten by Austin Royals HomeSchool 46-0 on Saturday. San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
