Volleyball Recap: North Platte Comes Up Short

North Platte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to King City/Union Star. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against King City/Union Star this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on October 4th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-20, 25-12.

Despite the defeat, North Platte saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brandy Johnson had 20 digs and two aces.

North Platte's loss dropped their record down to 5-24. As for King City/Union Star, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-1.

Coming up, North Platte will challenge Mid-Buchanan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. King City/Union Star does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
