Baseball Recap: Loara's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Loara). They blew past the Los Amigos Lobos 16-3 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Saxons, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Loara's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Los Amigos, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Loara will have a chance to go back-to-back against Los Amigos: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
