Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carroll). Everything went their way against the Faith Christian Eagles on Saturday as the Carroll Cougars made off with a 67-45 victory. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Eagles are ranked 389th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Faith Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Luke Miller, who posted 13 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Barrett, who scored six points.

The win (which was Carroll's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Faith Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-44 victory against Delphi Community on the 29th. Faith Christian has also already played their next contest, a 64-47 loss against Frontier on the 28th.
