Softball Recap: Christian Brothers Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Christian Brothers can now relate to. They lost 12-2 to the Vanden Vikings on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 8-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Christian Brothers saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lillie Warren, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. Kaylee Foster was another, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Christian Brothers dropped their record down to 7-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Vanden, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.

As of now, neither Christian Brothers nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
