Soccer Recap: Oneida Comes Up Short

Oneida managed to slip by Northview Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians came up short against the Cougars on Tuesday, falling 5-1. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Oneida struggled afterwards.

Their goal came courtesy of Miles Laxton, who's now up to six this season.

Oneida now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Northview Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oneida will face off against Roane County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Roane County will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Oneida surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northview Academy, they will square off against Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
