Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sioux Valley). They blew past the Parker Pheasants 80-49 on Saturday. The Cossacks haven't had any issues with the Pheasants recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Sioux Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Parker, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Sioux Valley and Parker could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps South Dakota Rankings. Sioux Valley (ranked 50th) will meet Castlewood (ranked eighth) at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Parker will challenge Parkston at 7:45 p.m. on Monday down 88 places (120 vs. 32).
