Westminster is 1-8 against Prairie View since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wolves will square off against the Thunderhawks at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Westminster comes in on three and Prairie View on 11.
Westminster hadn't beaten Northglenn on the road since April 24, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Wolves came out on top against the Norsemen by a score of 10-7.

Robert Atencio made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.
In other batting news, Brian Fieros was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Riverdale Ridge typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Prairie View proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Ravens with a sharp 8-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Thunderhawks, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Jerry Stone spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up 12 Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Romani Perez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Jael Peralta was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Prairie View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Riverdale Ridge only posted a batting average of .200.
Prairie View's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Westminster, their record now sits at 11-6.
Westminster came up short against Prairie View in their previous meeting on April 3rd, falling 5-1. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
