Volleyball Recap: Briggs Takes a Loss

Briggs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Brunswick Blue Devils. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Briggs' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Brunswick, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Briggs is set to take on their familiar foe Independence at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brunswick will face off against rival St. Edward at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
