Volleyball Game Preview: Silver Creek Raiders vs. Leigh Longhorns + How To Watch

The Silver Creek Raiders will head out to challenge the Leigh Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Silver Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Ann Sobrato and fell 3-2. While the Raiders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 25-19 in the first set.

Silver Creek actually scored more points across those five sets (104-103), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Leigh beat Piedmont Hills 3-1 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-17.

Leigh's victory bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Silver Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

Silver Creek couldn't quite get it done against Leigh in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
