Soccer Game Preview: Skiatook vs. Summit Christian Academy

The Skiatook Bulldogs will head out to take on the Summit Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Skiatook and Oologah meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Bulldogs never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Skiatook might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by seven goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Summit Christian Academy). They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Mingo Valley Christian on Tuesday. Summit Christian Academy hasn't had any issues with Mingo Valley Christian recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Skiatook is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those four games. As for Summit Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
