Softball Game Preview: Ingram Moore Warriors vs. Comfort Bobcats/Deer

Ingram Moore hasn't had much luck against Comfort recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Ingram Moore will take on Comfort at 7:00 p.m. Ingram Moore will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Ingram Moore is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Brady 20-5 on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Warriors with their most commanding win of the season.

Kylie Traub made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. Traub was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Sydney Mayhall was incredible, going 4-for-5 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Priscilla Cancino, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Ingram Moore kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Comfort, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on Florence with a sharp 16-3 win on Friday.

Ingram Moore's record is now 8-11. As for Comfort, their record now sits at 5-16.

Ingram Moore skirted past Comfort 7-5 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Ingram Moore repeat their success, or does Comfort has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
