Baseball Recap: Montesano Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Montesano dropped their record down to 19-3 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's ten-game streak of wins on the road. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for La Center, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games.

For La Center's part, their victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gunnar Schockelt, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double. Another was Caden Taylor, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

As of now, neither Montesano nor La Center have any future games scheduled.
