Volleyball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for Riverview Sarasota

There's no place like home for Riverview Sarasota, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lakewood Ranch Mustangs on Thursday. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

The win didn't come easy: Lakewood Ranch scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 25-21, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Lakewood Ranch lost, don't look at Mariana Alvarez. Despite the final result, she had 24 digs and three assists. Alvarez is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.
