Softball Game Preview: Sullivan Redskins vs. Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] Titans

The Sullivan Redskins will challenge the Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Sullivan has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Sullivan didn't have quite enough to beat Argenta-Oreana and fell 6-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Redskins in their meetings with the Bombers: they've now lost four in a row.

Sullivan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harmony Ray, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland]'s offense. They fell 3-0 to Blue Ridge on Friday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shaylun Christenberry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland]'s loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Sullivan, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-8.

Sullivan beat Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] 6-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Redskins repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
