Basketball Recap: Stoughton Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Edgewood, Stoughton was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 60-47 win over the Sauk Prairie Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-31 back in December of 2024.

Stoughton's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Sauk Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Stoughton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-27 win against Brodhead on the 4th. Sauk Prairie has also already played their next game, a 53-18 victory against Lake Mills on the 4th.
