Baseball Recap: Big Pasture Comes Up Short

Big Pasture was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-3 to the Verden Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 back in March.

Big Pasture saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was LAYNE DAVIDSON, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Big Pasture's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Verden, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Big Pasture will face off against Sterling at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Verden, they will venture away from home to take on Rush Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
