Football Recap: Archbishop Hannan Piles Up the Points Against St. Thomas Aquinas + How To Watch

The third road contest was the charm for Archbishop Hannan, as they earned their first away win of the season. They blew past the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons, posting a 34-7 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Archbishop Hannan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Riley Jones out in front who rushed for 113 yards and two TDs, and also picked up 42 receiving yards. That's the most rushing yards Jones has posted since back in October of 2024. Braden Sprang was another key player, rushing for 13 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

With the victory, Archbishop Hannan broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Archbishop Hannan and St. Thomas Aquinas will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Hawks are set to challenge their familiar foe Pearl River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, St. Thomas Aquinas will face off against rival Pope John Paul II at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
