United won the last time they faced Southern and things went their way on Monday too. The United Golden Eagles managed a 32-27 win over the Southern Indians. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

United has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Southern, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. United won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Valley Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southern, they will head out on the road to square off against Columbiana at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
