Softball Recap: Midland Park Has No Trouble Against Palisades Park

Midland Park's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Palisades Park Tigers an 18-0 shutout. That looming 18-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Midland Park's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Palisades Park, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
