Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Pearl-Cohn

Pearl-Cohn had won two straight games and Javion Kinnard did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Pearl-Cohn Firebirds put the hurt on the East Robertson Indians with a sharp 64-43 win thanks in part to Kinnard, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 19 points along with seven steals and six assists. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Pearl-Cohn's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for East Robertson, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Pearl-Cohn will take on Battle Ground Academy in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Pearl-Cohn has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three contests. As for East Robertson, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lakeland Preparatory at 11:30 a.m. on December 30th.
