It was a good run, but Port St. Joe unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to the Leon Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tiger Sharks of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Port St. Joe's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Leon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4-1.

Port St. Joe will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Bay Haven Academy at 3:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Leon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Leon's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Lincoln's offense will have their work cut out for them.
