Baseball Recap: Troy Trojans vs. Mansfield Tigers
After flying high against Wyalusing Valley on Tuesday, Troy came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Mansfield Tigers by a score of 15-14 on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (13), the Trojans still had to take the loss.
Mason Smith and Trey Teribury stepped up to the plate in a big way. Smith went 2-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI, while Teribury went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendan Gilliland, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
