Basketball Recap: Clint Comes Up Short

Clint was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain View Lobos. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lobos from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mountain View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Diego Gonzalez, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Gonzalez a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Omar Nevarez, who posted 12 points.

Clint's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Mountain View, their record now sits at 9-14.

Clint will host Ysleta at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ysleta will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Clint surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mountain View, they will venture away from home to face off against Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
