Volleyball Recap: Choctaw Yellowjackets vs. Stillwater Pioneers
On Tuesday, the Choctaw Yellowjackets earned a 3-1 win over the Stillwater Pioneers.
Choctaw had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-21, 25-20, 26-24.
Taylor Rattay and Ella Weiberg certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Rattay had 24 digs and three aces, while Weiberg had nine digs and 15 assists. Weiberg is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Choctaw has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-13 record this season. As for Stillwater, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-21.
