Recap: Freeman Mavericks vs. Glen Allen Jaguars
The Freeman Mavericks lost against the Glen Allen Jaguars back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Freeman lost to Glen Allen at home by a decisive 59-44 margin. Freeman has struggled against Glen Allen recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glen Allen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Faron Friend, who scored 24 points along with 5 rebounds. The matchup was Friend's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Granderson, who scored 12 points along with 8 steals.
Freeman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Glen Allen, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Freeman will play host again and welcome Deep Run, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Deep Run has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three contests. Glen Allen will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Godwin at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th.
