Basketball Game Preview: Hagerty Huskies vs. Ocoee Knights

The Hagerty Huskies will challenge the Ocoee Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Ocoee will be up against a hot Hagerty team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Hagerty walked away with a 64-57 win over Spruce Creek on Monday.

Hagerty's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Asa Kohn, who went 10 for 15 on his way to 23 points along with eight assists and six boards, and Mason Morrow, who went 6 of 7 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Kohn has scored at least a third of Hagerty's points. Nicolas Garces was another key player, putting up five points and three steals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ocoee, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They skirted past Dr. Phillips 66-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since December 4, 2024.

Ocoee's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Hagerty, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10.
