Baseball Recap: Irondale Comes Up Short

Irondale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Park Wolfpack. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 back in April.

Irondale's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Park, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-9.

Irondale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-9 defeat against Spring Lake Park on the 2nd. Park has also already played their next game (against Mounds View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
