Softball Recap: Hilton Head Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Hilton Head Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the First Baptist School Hurricanes.

Gwen Epstein was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Molly Mikkelson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Hilton Head Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for First Baptist School, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Hilton Head Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Cross at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for First Baptist School, they will take on Bridges Prep at 5:00 p.m. on March 27th.
