Soccer Recap: Marianna Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Marianna was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 7-1 to the Arnold Marlins. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Marlins recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Marianna's goal came courtesy of Arvilla Olsen, who's now up to three this season.

Marianna's loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Arnold, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5-1.

Marianna wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Jefferson County on the 10th. As for Arnold, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Rutherford on the 13th.
