Baseball Game Preview: Christchurch School Seahorses vs. Catholic Crusaders

Christchurch School is 2-7 against Catholic since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Seahorses will be playing at home against the Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. The last three games Christchurch School has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Things were looking good for Christchurch School after they put the first runs on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Virginia Episcopal School by a score of 3-2.

Trey Fitchett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Dallas Davis, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, falling 12-0.

Christchurch School's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
