Volleyball Recap: Lexington Minutemen vs. Gothenburg Swedes
Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Gothenburg Swedes. The Minutemen were not able to make up for their defeat to the Swedes from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
Lexington started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-22.
Lexington's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aubrey Ackerson, who had 15 digs, and Gisselle Maravilla, who had 11 digs and one assist.
