Soccer Recap: Dumas Falls Short of San Elizario in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dumas can now relate to. They fell just short of the San Elizario Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Dumas were not able to make up for their loss to San Elizario from their previous meeting back in January of 2020.

Ismael Marchan and Josh Samarripa scored both of Dumas' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Dumas' defeat dropped their record down to 14-3-3. As for San Elizario, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Dumas nor San Elizario have any future games scheduled.
