Sleepy Eye lost against Cedar Mountain back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sleepy Eye Indians took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Mountain Cougars. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sleepy Eye's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cedar Mountain, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Sleepy Eye will finish 2024 at home by hosting Hancock at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cedar Mountain, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Mary's at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
