Hempfield put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Ephrata Mountaineers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 12-9 victory two weeks ago.

Liam Ahern looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Hempfield's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-0.
