Volleyball Recap: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Caroline Turner and Sequoia Slayman

Tipton-Rosemark Academy lost against Jackson Christian back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rebels fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21, 15-9.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Sequoia Slayman and Caroline Turner. Slayman had 11 digs, while Turner had 12 digs and one block.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Jackson Christian, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tipton-Rosemark Academy will welcome Trinity Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jackson Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Middleton at 5:00 p.m.
