St. Paul came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 56-8 win over the Corbett Cardinals. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Buckaroos' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Cardinals are ranked 54th).

St. Paul's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Corbett, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, St. Paul will be playing in front of their home fans against Lowell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buckaroos will need to watch out since the Devils have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
