Softball Recap: Hope Beats Paul Cuffee for Their Third Straight Victory

Hope won against Times Squared Academy on Monday with 25 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Blue Wave blew past Paul Cuffee 25-15. Considering the Blue Wave have won three matches by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hope got a massive performance out of Adriana Delves, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs. Those three runs gave Delves a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Keysha Ceri, who went 2-for-3 with three runs.

Hope always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .725. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory was the third in a row for Hope, bringing their record up to 4-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Paul Cuffee, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Hope has already played their next game, a 27-10 victory against Juanita Sanchez Complex on the 2nd. As for Paul Cuffee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-0 loss against Davies Career & Tech on the 8th.
