Maize South was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Reign Illian did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Illian as he threw for 474 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 46 yards. He is becoming a predictor of Maize South's success: when he posts at least 250 passing yards the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Illian and Maize South will head out to square off against Hutchinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Illian up against the Salthawks' star signal caller Robert Hunter.
