Softball Recap: Eminence Comes Up Short

Eminence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 43rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 29-1 to the Carroll County Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Tuesday.

Eminence's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Carroll County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eminence will square off against Henry County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carroll County, they will take on Collins at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
