It was a good run, but Joseph City unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mingus Marauders by a score of 1-0. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Marauders earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Amber Neill paced Joseph City's offense, picking up eight kills. Neill were helped by Raylee Fish and Tori Beatty, who contributed five assists each.

Joseph City now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Mingus, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Joseph City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Poston Butte on the 30th. As for Mingus, they will take on Marcos de Niza at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
