Basketball Recap: Madison Southern Takes a Loss

Madison Southern lost against Lafayette back in January of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Madison Southern Eagles fell 77-70 to the Lafayette Generals.

Madison Southern has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Lafayette, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-13 record.

Madison Southern has already played their next game (against Bluegrass United), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lafayette will take on Shelby County at 1:30 p.m. on February 8th.
