Volleyball Recap: Seymour Beats South-Doyle for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Seymour had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the South-Doyle Cherokees as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Cherokees back in August, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Leading Seymour to victory were Isabella Hylan and Makenzie Warner. Hylan had 26 digs and two aces, while Warner had nine assists and three digs. Hylan is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 26 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Seymour's win bumped their record up to 21-11. As for South-Doyle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-5.

Seymour wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Alcoa on the 14th. South-Doyle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
