Basketball Recap: Rincon/University Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

After losing to Poston Butte the last time they met, Rincon/University decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rangers took down the Broncos 61-46 on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Poston Butte saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emily Maciver dropped a double-double with 18 points and 15 boards. Teighlor Fong was another key player, putting up nine points.

Rincon/University's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games.
