Miyamura barely beat Laguna Acoma the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Miyamura put the hurt on Laguna Acoma with a sharp 11-1 victory on Tuesday. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Shane Escajada, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Nikki Torres, who scored two runs and stole five bases.

Miyamura's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Laguna Acoma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Miyamura will welcome Grants at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Laguna Acoma, they will venture away from home to face off against Tohatchi at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Laguna Acoma will need to watch out since Tohatchi has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
